The Allusive Story
Looking back, it’s no surprise that I got serious about photography around the same time as I got serious about travel. That’s because for me, photography is about cataloging the world. Every sunset, every insect, and all the best smiles I’ve captured are the once in a lifetime moments that would have happened with or without my camera. I’m an impartial observer with no motive other than to archive what I’ve had the good fortune to see.
I’ve entered abandoned places, and I’ve been surrounded by life. I’ve pointed my camera into darkness, and I’ve seen the sky painted with light. I’ve photographed stillness, and I’ve frozen movement in time. I click whenever the moment might be worth preserving. And I share my favorite moments with those willing to pause long enough to see the proof that the world is even more interesting than the people who live on it.
