There's no place like home.

I live in an older part of Salt Lake City, with most of the houses in the area being around 100 years old. When a magnitude 5.7 earthquake hit back on the 18th, I knew that several homes in my area would likely be damaged. Walking the neighborhood, I found I was not wrong - with crumbling walls and fallen chimneys throughout the area.

However, a damaged home can still be home! This family asked me to take a few photos of them in front of their earthquake-damaged exterior wall. What a great way to remember an unfortunate event!
